and international films from up-and-coming filmmakers. What better way to watch independent cinema then in the stunning Alex Theater at the Metropolitan at the 9 while enjoying a cool beer or cocktail with some gourmet food?
Did we mention there will also be live music throughout the film festival?
Wednesday, February 26 – Opening Night, doors open at 6:00pm and films will run from 7:00-9:00pm, followed by live music and a filmmaker’s networking/social event.
Thursday, February 27 – Student Filmmaker’s Night, doors open at 6:00pm and films will run from 7:00-10:00pm, followed by a student filmmaker’s networking/social event.
Friday, February 28 – Local Filmmaker’s Night, doors open at 6:00pm and films will run from 7:00-10:00pm, followed by a local filmmaker’s networking/social event.
Saturday, February 29 – Drama, Music Videos, Comedy, Animation, and Horror, doors open at 10:00am and films will run from 11:00am-9:00pm, followed by a filmmaker’s networking/social event. From 11:00am-2:15pm we will have Program 1 (Drama + Music Videos), 3:05-6:00pm Program 2 (Comedy + Animation), and 6:45-9:00pm Program 3 (Horror).
The 2020 Awards Ceremony will be at 9:00pm following the Horror Block.
Sunday, March 1, – Local Filmmaker’s Matinee, Documentary, Drama, and Comedy doors open at 10:00am and films will run from 11:00am-9:00pm. From 11:00am-2:30pm we will have Program 1 (Local) then from 3:10-9:00pm Program 2 (Documentary, Drama, Comedy).
All patrons can come-and-go throughout the festival as long as they keep their wristband on.
Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the concession stand right outside the entrance to the Alex Theater. A full bar and restaurant is a few feet away from the entrance to the theater. Many of the seats are leather recliners with a fold-out table, but they are first come, first serve unless you purchase a VIP ticket.
